We all have that special someone in our life, don’t we? That person with the best advice, who can solve any housekeeping problem we run into, knows exactly the right concoction to get rid of very specific tough stains? Maybe it’s your mum, or your grandpa or your auntie – but what if that person could be you?
That’s our mission here at Spruce It Up! We don’t just want to give you all of the handy tips and tricks so you can buff out the blood stain; we want to teach you, so you can spread them far and wide! Nobody should ever have to deal with dirty windows, or a faded carpet, not when they have you – and when you have us!
Our Community
This site is built on the idea of community, of people looking out for one another and sharing their knowledge online – it’s the modern way! We’ve built a fun and funky forum for all of our members, so you can post bonus tips, share a success story you recently had or ask for help with a specifically difficult problem. Is it beetroot? I bet it’s beetroot.
We do have a couple of rules for everyone to follow, just to keep this space clean and tidy so that everyone feels welcome to chime in. After all, how are we supposed to learn if we don’t all feel like we can contribute? The rules are:
- No hate speech/sexism/racism/etc.
- For OBVIOUS reasons – let’s keep it above the bare minimum amount of civility!
- Be as specific as possible
- No use posting your best-kept secret if you don’t fully share with the group!
- Flag all dangerous ingredients/materials
- We try to encourage only natural/non-toxic ingredients, but if you HAVE to include something a little bit more dangerous, make sure you let the group know before anyone tries it and potentially hurts themselves.
