The redecorating is coming along really nicely. My house looks exactly like the beachside, tropical location I stayed at a few weeks ago. Transforming my house into a tropical paradise by simply changing the wallpaper and wall decals I’ve selected for my home has been a great decision. I think it’s playing a big role in the fact that even a month on from my holiday, I’m feeling calm, relaxed and happy. Normally I get so caught up in life and my responsibilities that I forget to step back and smell the roses, but with the walls of my home decorated with flower wall decals and bright coloured wallpaper behind them, I feel good. And my house looks incredible. 

I am pleased to say that my decorating of the office is also going really well. My boss said he was happy for me to redecorate, which I was surprised by. I think it was because of how confident, cool, calm and collected I was when I approached him on the first day of work. It was an absolute breeze to talk him through the benefits of redecorating and showing him all the options available to him and the office.

I wanted to have a really large impact on the way our office is decorated going forward, but seeing as I’m not the boss or the owner of the building, I had to run all my design choices by my boss. To ensure I got what I wanted, I made sure to present him with several decorative options. 

I was rather surprised when he opted for the unicorn wall decal option, but I was pleasantly surprised indeed. I am so excited to have the wall decals elegantly framed and put on the walls. It’s going to be a much-needed element of added colour and it’s going to lift the spirit of my coworkers. It’s going to create a really relaxing, holiday feel among the office and employees.

Today, I’m going to tell you all about one of my crazy dreams, since you seemed to enjoy the previous one so much. I dreamed it several nights ago, but I still remember every single detail of the dream because it was so incredible. I was in this daydream-like landscape, all lush green grass and vibrant blue sky. I looked to the edges of my vision and saw a shiny silver unicorn leaping across the hills. Despite its pace, it looked incredibly graceful.

I do believe that the unicorn probably appeared in my dreams because of that removable unicorn wallpaper I have had on my bedroom walls for the past decade. I guess the picture of the unicorn simply made its way into my subconscious mind. I’ve loved unicorns since I was small, but I’ve only really started having dreams about them over the past couple of weeks. I’m considering going on one of those dream websites to research exactly what having unicorns appear in dreams means.

Apparently, the objects that appear and the events that occur within our dreams are meant to be our subconscious mind trying to process certain things from our everyday realities. It’s actually quite interesting to read about, even if I don’t understand most of what people are saying. There’s a lot of philosophy involved.

I’m currently considering buying a prepasted butterfly wallpaper designed in Australia in the hopes of having a dream about butterflies. I became a little bit intrigued by them when I went to the zoo last year, and I think they’d be a fun addition to my dreams. What they would do within my dreams, I couldn’t tell you. Probably just flap around looking pretty and maybe bestowing my dream self with some magical powers. If I ever end up having a dream about butterflies, I’ll write a blog post right away and let you all know.
